I do not hesitate to recommend David Vaughan as a real estate agent to sell your house. Although he was not this neighborhood’s “specialist,” he is extremely knowledgeable about the Atlanta market and had a very good perspective on the competition we were facing, which was stiff. The house we were selling was my parents, almost 50 years old, never updated, had a history of water issues, and was the largest and most expensive one in the neighborhood. All that being said, it had a lot of charm and, we felt, just needed the right buyer to appreciate its layout and attributes. David never gave up, through thick and thin. We tried to get the top-dollar price for the house but when that didn’t pan out he kept the listing active through sustained, incremental price reductions. After 9 months, he eventually landed a deal that worked for us. It was actually the only offer received but it was the right buyer and we got a good price, all things considered. David recognized the value in the offer and gave solid advice throughout the whole process, from listing to closing.
